Somali boxing has done a lot for Somali sports with the help of Abdalla Mohamud Siyad (Baris) and Sidow Sheikh Yusuf
who was a talented secretary. This made it possible for us to be admitted to the International Boxing Coaching Course which was attended by Sudan, Uganda and Ethiopia and we were fortunate to be given the leadership of Somalia led by Sheikh Aweys Mohamed Abati (orfeo).

The most exciting boxing match in the history of our country Coach Sheikh Aweys Mohamed Abati (Orfeo) and Coach Said Ahmed (Aranjaato) compete. This was the heaviest boxing match in the history of our country, and was won by Sheikh Aweys Mohamed Abati (Orfeo).: –
